Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Resumix AI collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the app. The app is designed so that core resume creation and editing remain on your device unless you explicitly choose optional cloud or AI features.
Information We Process
- Name, email address, phone number, postal address, and other resume content you enter
- Profile photo, portfolio links, projects, education, work history, and related resume details
- Authentication information from phone OTP or supported social sign-in providers when you choose those options
- Subscription and purchase state needed to unlock premium features
- AI prompts and resume text you submit when you use AI-powered features
How We Use Information
- Provide resume editing, preview, organization, and PDF export features
- Authenticate users through OTP or social sign-in when requested by the user
- Back up and restore data only when the user initiates Backup & Sync
- Generate AI-assisted suggestions and rewriting when the user invokes AI tools
- Restore purchases and manage subscription entitlements
- Respond to support and privacy requests
On-Device Storage and Optional Cloud Features
Resume content, portfolio items, job tracker entries, settings, and similar data are stored locally on your device by default. Cloud backup is optional. Your data is not uploaded automatically when you edit a resume. Upload occurs only when you explicitly use a backup or sync action.
Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services depending on the features you choose to use.
- OTP verification providers for sending and verifying one-time passcodes
- Firebase or other configured auth and sync services for account and backup features
- AI service providers for user-requested content generation or rewriting
- Google Play Billing and other payment infrastructure for subscriptions and purchases
- Social sign-in providers such as Google or Facebook when enabled and selected by the user
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Information may be transmitted to service providers only as needed to provide optional features you choose, such as OTP authentication, cloud backup, AI processing, sign-in, or billing.
Security
Network requests are intended to use encrypted transport where supported. Some sensitive configuration values, such as user-entered AI API keys, may be stored using secure local storage on the device.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete local app data from within the app using Settings → Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app removes local data stored on the device. If you used cloud backup or sync, deletion requests may also affect synced backups associated with your current device or sync code.

Children
The app is not intended to collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and address the issue.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this URL with a revised last updated date.
